Road to Lake Parón reopens
After seasonal maintenance, the road to the turquoise lake is open to visitors again.
After several weeks of maintenance work, the road connecting Caraz with Lake Parón is operational again.
Authorities recommend leaving early, bringing warm clothing and respecting the entry times set by Huascarán National Park. The trip takes about an hour and a half from the Plaza de Armas.
